As a longtime resident of Surrey, Coral has held various impactful roles that demonstrate her commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive community.
Coral's professional journey includes significant positions such as Membership Services Manager at the Tong Louie YMCA, Community Capital Campaign Manager for the YMCA of Greater Vancouver, Fund Development Manager at Surrey Cares, and Manager of Charitable Gifts at the Surrey Hospital Foundation.
She’s currently a managing partner with destinationone Consulting, with a focus on recruitment for non-profits.
She has also been a volunteer for six years at the Tong Louie Family YMCA, where she teaches cardio dance, and volunteers with SurreyCares Community Foundation as the chair of its fund development committee.
"What motivates me to keep giving to the community is the belief that we all thrive when we come together to support one another," Henshaw said. "Small acts of kindness and service can spark real, meaningful change. If I can make even a moment in someone’s day better, it fills my heart. Imagine if we all took one moment a day to do that?"

Coral Henshaw is an experienced nonprofit management professional with over a decade of expertise in fundraising and event planning. She began her career at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver, where she gained valuable experience in community engagement and fundraising. Most recently, she served as the Manager of Development at Surrey Hospitals Foundation, where she excelled in donor cultivation, stewardship, and major gift solicitation.
