BC Hospice Palliative Care Association
For 35 years, the BC Hospice Palliative Care Association (BCHPCA) has supported quality and responsive hospice palliative care programs and services, including grief, bereavement and compassionate care, to people nearing end-of-life and their loved ones. BCHPCA support will go towards hospice palliative care education, up-to-date, evidence-based hospice palliative care data, and advocating on behalf of BC and Yukon Hospice Societies, while also raising public awareness and engagement.
BCHPCA is committed to ensuring people have the choice to live, love, die and say goodbye in their own way. Community-based, non-profit hospice care services provided by more than seventy-one hospice organizations located in urban, rural, and remote communities across BC, serve over 10,000 British Columbians monthly and their loved ones from timely access to hospice palliative care programs and services.
